Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
- Assess, prioritize, and treat acute and critical illnesses and injuries
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams
- Respond effectively during medical emergencies and trauma situations
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and follow-up care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Support culturally sensitive, patient-centered care practices
Qualifications
- Active RN license
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (preferred)
- Emergency Department experience required
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and resourceful environment
- Previous rural, tribal, or critical access hospital experience is a plus
