Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience
• Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
• Ability to float to other units within demonstrated competency based on staffing needs
• Professional clinical presentation and adherence to dress code and safety standards

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support timely treatment and patient flow
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
• Respond quickly to urgent and emergent patient care situations
• Float to other units within scope of competency as needed to support staffing and patient care demands
• Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record system
• Promote a safe, professional, and patient-centered care environment
