• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours
• Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,470 - $2,600

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 2 years of recent ER RN experience
• At least 1 year of Emergency Room travel nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required and must be maintained
• Successful passage of pharmacology and basic arrhythmia exams
• Strong communication skills and the ability to read, write, and speak English
• Demonstrated skills in IV administration, IV starts, ventilator care, and telemetry monitoring
• De-escalation certification preferred
• TNCC, ENPC, and PALS certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Provide accurate documentation of patient assessments, care plans, and discharge planning
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to support safe, effective patient care
• Serve as a charge nurse when needed and act as a resource for staff
• Support orientation, teaching, and ongoing staff development
• Maintain standards of professional nursing practice and adhere to safety and infection control policies
• Contribute to quality improvement efforts and service excellence across the department
• Perform other related duties as assigned
