ER RN – Massachusetts

Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse
Experience Required: 2 years recent ER RN experience plus at least 1 year of ER travel experience

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• BLS
• ACLS
• Strong IV administration and IV start skills
• Ventilator care experience
• Telemetry monitoring experience
• Must pass facility Pharmacology and Basic Arrhythmia exams
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Preferred Certifications

• TNCC
• ENPC
• PALS
• De-escalation certification

Role Highlights

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care using assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Administer medications and monitor patient response
• Manage high-acuity patients requiring telemetry, ventilator support, and IV therapy
• Develop and document individualized plans of care throughout admission and discharge
• Coordinate care with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
• Serve as a clinical resource and assist with staff education and orientation
• Charge nurse responsibilities may be required
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and adhere to hospital safety and quality standards

Ideal Candidate: Experienced ER traveler who is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced acute care environment and managing complex emergency patients.
