Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) - Springfield, MA. This position involves working in a large, high-acuity emergency care unit with 118 beds. The RN will manage a diverse patient population, including behavioral health, boarding patients, critically ill, and Intensive Care Unit (ICU)-level patients. Candidates must have a strong background in emergency or critical care nursing and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Job Details:
- Location: Springfield, MA
- Schedule: Nights; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license; minimum of 2 years of emergency department (ED) or intensive care unit (ICU) experience, post-orientation; certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated strong critical care skills, adaptability, and experience managing complex and unstable patients
- Additional Information: Nurses must demonstrate strong critical care skills, adaptability, and comfort in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
