What the Facility Wants (Requirements & Expectations)
Experience & Qualifications
- Experience Required: No prior experience strictly required; previous clinical/ER experience is desired.
- License & Certifications: Active Oregon RN license and required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC. (Note: CRASE training is required if the travel assignment extends beyond a 6-month period).
Clinical & Unit Overview
- Role Focus: Providing high-quality, patient-centered emergency care, triaging patients, performing rapid assessments, administering medications/IV fluids, and executing emergency procedures (wound care, splinting).
- Floating Policy: Agency nurses will be floated to other departments where qualified to perform patient care before core staff is floated.
