Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) specialty position located in an acute care facility, focusing on adult and geriatric patient care. This role involves providing high-level emergency services in a fast-paced environment with a focus on trauma and critical care. The position offers a comprehensive clinical experience aligned with current best practices and patient care standards.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week, starting on 09/14/2026 and ending on 12/14/2026.
  • Required Qualifications: 2 years of ER experience, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certifications; experience with trauma level I or II, adult and geriatric patient care, Blood Product Administration, Chest tubes, Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI), CVA care, Feeding tube management, Heparin and Insulin administration, PPE and Isolation precautions, Med/Surg and Telemetry units, oxygen therapy, Peripheral Line Care and Management, PICC line management, IV insertion and maintenance, Substance Withdrawal management, Tracheostomy care, use of Rapid Response and Code Teams, and Wound Care/Wound Vac.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic charting systems and interdisciplinary support services such as physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and social services.
  • Additional Information: The role entails working in a unit with interdisciplinary support and a daily census of approximately 12 patients. The unit maintains a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio during day and night shifts, with weekend coverage every other weekend. Travelers are expected to float to like units as needed. Orientation of 24 hours will be provided onsite; labs must be completed within 48 business hours post-contract signing.
