Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing or acute care nursing experience
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced Emergency Department
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, triage, and prioritization skills
- Experience caring for a wide range of emergency and urgent care patients preferred
- Reliable, team-oriented approach with excellent communication skills
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in the Emergency Department
- Assess, monitor, and stabilize patients presenting with urgent and emergent needs
- Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions as ordered
- Collaborate with physicians and the care team to support timely patient flow
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the medical record
- Maintain a calm, professional presence during high-acuity situations and emergency cases
- Support safe, efficient care delivery during night shifts, weekends, and holiday rotation
