Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in a busy acute care environment. The position requires delivering high-quality patient care, demonstrating evidence-based practice, and working independently within a team. The ER Nurse will be responsible for assessing patient conditions, performing clinical procedures, and ensuring accurate documentation, all while maintaining a focus on patient safety and advocacy.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights shift; 12 hours per shift; minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: CA RN Licensure, BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS, 2 years of experience in Emergency Department, valid certifications with expiration dates, uploaded certifications, and CA State License on Nursys within the last 2 weeks
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge nurse experience, experience with Epic charting system, community hospital experience, trauma level I or II experience, travel experience required
- Float: Not required
- Additional Information: Candidate must complete labs within 3-5 days of contract signing. All compliance documents due 10 days prior to start date. Candidates should have at least 2 years of ER experience, and references obtained within the last year. Candidates must provide accurate work history going back 7 years and disclose supporting documentation for licensure and certifications.
