Job Summary:
The Emergency Room (ER) Nursing position is located in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. This role is suited for experienced emergency room nurses who can provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The position involves shift work, including night shifts with rotational weekends, and requires a commitment to patient safety and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Education verification, Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) licensure, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and either Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Triage Nurse Specialist (TNS).
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Additional Information: Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients. Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, procedures, standards of care, and State laws practice act. Performs assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care. Develops, initiates, and executes patient plans of care according to the individual needs of patients, including patient and family education. Participates in department or unit performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance. Utilizes clinical expertise and guidance to other units or departments supporting the patient's longitudinal plan of care. Engages in critical thinking regarding patient safety and patient experience, escalating issues when appropriate.
