What the Facility Wants (Requirements & Expectations)
Experience & Qualifications
- Experience Required: Minimum 3 years of experience. First-time travelers are accepted.
- License & Certifications:
- Active PA license or Compact license required in hand at time of submission.
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS required.
- Local Policy: Local travelers accepted at a rate differential (50-mile local radius).
Clinical & Unit Overview
- Patient Ratios: 1:7.
- Charting System: EPIC (required).
- Scheduling: No blocked scheduling permitted. Every-other-weekend and every-other-holiday requirements.
Submission & Compliance Notes
- RTO: Must be provided at the time of submission and cannot be added afterward.
- Interview Availability: Provide a range of 3–5 potential interview days to prioritize submittal.
- Special Clearances: PA fingerprints are required (may require travel and up to 2–4 weeks processing time). A clinical pass/fail exam is required during clearance (maximum 3 attempts).
