What the Facility Wants (Requirements & Expectations)
Experience & Qualifications
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of experience required (previous travel experience not strictly required).
- License & Certifications: Active RN license. Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
- Radius & Affiliation Rules: Strict 50-mile radius rule. Candidates cannot be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit (including CHI and/or Dignity).
Clinical & Unit Overview
- Unit Details: 25-bed Critical Access Hospital with a Level V Emergency Department, Med-Surg, and Swing Bed unit.
- Patient Ratios: 1:8 utilizing team nursing (supported by Nurse Aides/CNAs on each shift).
- Titratable Drips: Electrolytes, hypertensive medications, IV antibiotics, and blood transfusions.
- Charting System: EPIC EMR.
