Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) registered nurse position located centrally within the state of California. The role involves providing high-quality, coordinated nursing care to emergency patients in a fast-paced hospital setting. The nurse will supervise and collaborate with healthcare team members, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through application of critical thinking and clinical expertise.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Evening shifts from 2:00 PM to 9:30 PM, with 12-hour shifts and a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN); Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS certification; AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification; AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification; AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS certification; 1 year of experience in a similar role or specialty
- Preferred Qualifications: Acute care facility experience
- Additional Information: The RN will be responsible for collecting relevant health data, analyzing assessment information, developing care plans, and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals. The role includes participating in discharge planning, delegating tasks appropriately, and providing patient and family education to promote a safe and healing environment.
