Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Emergency Room (ER) is required for a healthcare facility in Clearlake, California. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ER environment, with a focus on emergency response and critical care. The position offers an opportunity to utilize extensive clinical skills and participate in emergency procedures in accordance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Night shift from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; current license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of California; evidence of current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications; at least one year of ER or ICU experience within the last 24 months.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Emergency Department (ED) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience preferred; some floating to different units may be required.
  • Additional Information: The position requires frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, climbing, reaching above shoulders, sitting, walking inclines and declines, standing, talking, hearing, and performing repetitive hand motions. Vision requirements include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must demonstrate a pull lift of 50 pounds from the floor. This job involves potential exposure to blood and body fluids, necessitating protective measures during procedures.
  • The RN will be responsible for continuous assessment, clinical documentation, medication administration, and emergency interventions, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards.
