Experience & Qualifications
- Experience Required: No prior experience strictly required (though previous nursing experience is preferred).
- Education & License: Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky (or compact state) and BLS required. ADN or ASN required (BSN preferred).
Core Responsibilities & Clinical Scope
- Comprehensive patient assessment, risk identification, and data collection.
- Executing patient care therapies, administering treatments, and documenting ongoing responses per hospital policy.
- Delegating tasks appropriately, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and facilitating admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Maintaining patient safety, communicating clearly, and participating in unit-based quality improvement initiatives.
