Position Description:
This ER nursing role will require floating between various satellite locations in the area. Schedule will be communicated in advance, and candidates must pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start, with up to two attempts allowed. A pass/fail simulation lab is also required on Day 1 of orientation, covering Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes, with specific tasks varying by location. Experience with sterile procedures is essential, and understanding lifts, restraints, and wound care are part of the educational components during orientation. -
Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, TNCC (CPI preferred but not required)
Minimum experience of 2 years in emergency nursing. -
Schedule:
Evening shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. -
Additional Information:
The position requires no floating to other departments. Orientation specific to the floor is provided. The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for shorter assignments. Charting is completed using Cerner system. No BSN requirement. The candidate must hold an active license to submit and meet the start date of 10/12/2026 and end date of 01/11/2027.
