Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse in a critical access hospital setting, with charge experience, located in an unspecified region. The role involves working weekend night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, providing comprehensive emergency care, floating to Med/Surg Stepdown as needed. Candidates must have at least two years of ER experience and prior experience working in a critical access hospital.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours each, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 08/31/2026 to 11/30/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Two or more years of current Emergency Room experience; previous charge nurse experience; active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC); license verification; all certifications must be current at the time of submission; permanent address must be included in the submission file.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous travel experience; prior experience working in a critical access hospital.
- Additional Information: This position requires floating to Med/Surg Stepdown with approximately 60% of shifts in the Emergency Department and 40% in critical access charge (backup to the Med/Surg Emergency Department). Candidates must be willing to manage Stepdown patients and assist with Med/Surg patients. No local candidates are accepted; applicants' permanent addresses must be at least 50 miles from the facility.
