What the Facility Wants (Requirements & Expectations)
Experience & Qualifications
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of ED experience required, along with at least 2 prior travel contracts.
- Clinical Skills: Experienced in caring for critical care patients while maintaining sound clinical judgment and documentation. Must be able to care for both psychiatric and pediatric patient populations.
- Core Competencies: Strong team collaboration skills with clear, timely communication; able to escalate concerns appropriately to ensure patient safety.
Scheduling & Unit Policies
- Weekends & Holidays: Every-other-weekend (EOW) or based on department needs; every-other-holiday (EOH) rotating with regular staff.
- Charting System: EPIC required.
- Floating Requirements: May need to float onsite within skill set or to other sites within a 40-mile radius if needed.
