Unit Specifics: Critical Care Access facility. Will be required to work all patient units including Med Surg and ER. Must have experience.
Need Specifics: BACKFILL! ASAP start! Would like someone that can clear quickly and move start date up. FT - RN ER/MS needed for NIGHTS! Shift: 5p-5a, 36 hours GH per week. Weekends: Required rotation (every 3rd weekend) . Must have ER and MS listed on work history at time of submission. BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC required (BLS, ACLS, PALS must be through AHA) and NRP (AHA) is highly preferred. Must have at time of sub or have a class scheduled prior to subbing – please send receipt of class. Any color scrubs. How a typical shift looks like for our staff here at Sabetha. We are very small our average IP census is 3 patients sometimes; we have up to 7-8 patients but typically 3-5 patients. We try to staff 3 nurses and 1 CNA on each shift. There are times when there are 2 nurses and 1 aide on a shift. That 2nd or 3rd nurse may be an LPN so there is a scenario where there could be 1 Rn and 1 LPN on the shift with an aide. When staff come on shifts, they divide up the IP load among the staff. One of the nurses may only take 1 IP if they are more versed in the ER and then would take the ER patients however most of the time, we would like to see the ER patients shared among the team as well! There is always a crisis nurse on call every night, so they can call them in at any time they need help. DON will call to interview , please have specific interview availability listed at time of submission. EMR: Cerner. Flu declination allowed but must wear a mask in flu season.
