Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse Sioux City, Iowa. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care as part of an interdisciplinary team within a Level 3 trauma center. The role requires flexibility to float within the same discipline across local campuses, and the candidate must be available to work the night shift. Candidates should be prepared to cover 36 hours per week starting from August 31, 2026.
Job Details:
- Location: Sioux City, Iowa
- Shift Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 08/31/2026
- Required Qualifications: Valid Iowa state license; 1 year of experience in emergency room nursing; work history/resume; skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission; copy of required certifications (ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC); certification verification; drivers license; references1 supervisory reference at time of submission.
- Certifications: TNCC, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)
- Additional Information: Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility. Candidate should be willing to work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day). Orientation scheduled for May 26-27 and June 8-9. Candidate should be prepared for call back and on-call responsibilities with applicable multipliers.
