Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent ER nursing or emergency department experience preferred
• Strong prioritization, time management, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to remain calm and effective in a high-acuity emergency care environment
• De-escalation skills; CPI training preferred
• Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
• Comfort working night shift assignments and supporting weekend/holiday coverage as needed

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Assess patient conditions quickly and prioritize care based on acuity and triage needs
• Support procedures and interventions commonly performed in the ER
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to ensure safe, efficient patient flow
• Monitor patients requiring advanced equipment and interventions, including ventilatory support and chest tubes
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the electronic medical record
• Provide compassionate, focused care while helping create a safe environment for patients and staff
