Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room will provide care to patients with a variety of conditions such as psych, trauma, general medical issues, sepsis, cardiac, stroke, abdominal pain, and chest pain in a level 3 trauma center setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients.
• Monitor patient outcomes and report any changes.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
• Collaborate with members of the healthcare team to provide a comprehensive care plan for patients.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a level 3 or higher trauma center.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, MOAB/CPI, and TNCC.
• Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically EPIC.
• Skills in RSI, conscious sedations, and managing lines/drains/tubes.
