Job Description:

Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room responsible for comprehensive care ranging from neonates to geriatric patients. The role includes handling a variety of cases from minor injuries to critical medical emergencies.

Responsibilities:

• Perform ESI assessments during triage.
• Provide care for various patient types including trauma and cardiac cases.
• Conduct evidence collection for Sexual Assault patients.
• Prioritize and manage patient care effectively.
• Communicate with hospital support teams and utilize EPIC charting system.

Requirements:

• Completion of an approved nursing education program.
• Current approval from the South Dakota Board of Nursing.
• Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience excluding travel experience.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC, and PALS certifications (CPI or MAB/MOAB preferred).
• Critical thinking and good communication skills.
