Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) nurse position located in a high-volume emergency department that primarily treats behavioral health patients. The schedule includes night shifts with every other weekend work, providing a consistent yet flexible work routine. The role requires a dedicated professional capable of managing a diverse patient population and adhering to established clinical standards.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Professional: Nurses License with Nursys License/Certificate Verification; Valid Driver's License or State ID; Ascension Profile; two professional references; minimum of 1 year of experience in emergency nursing, including certifications in BLS and ACLS; location requirements met for the area; all necessary education and certification requirements fulfilled
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in behavioral health settings and familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Cerner OneChart and Ceil Blue Scrubs
- Additional Information: The position involves providing high-quality emergency care to a diverse patient demographic, with a focus on behavioral health. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, follow SOPs, and deliver compassionate patient-centered services.
