Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) in a high-volume, urban healthcare facility. The position involves providing acute care to pediatric and adult patients in a fast-paced environment, with shifts scheduled during nights. The role requires handling high acuity cases, including trauma and behavioral health patients, and participating in a dynamic team focused on efficient patient care delivery.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Active Driver's License or State ID, UHS Submission Packet Checklist/Testing, UHS Skills Checklist, UHS Prior Employment Form, at least 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience, and ability to care for pediatric patients.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in high-volume ER settings, comfort with pediatric care, and trauma/resuscitation experience.
- Additional Information: The ER unit includes 38 beds, 5 fast track rooms, 4 behavioral health swing rooms, and 2 trauma/resuscitation rooms. While not a designated trauma facility, it manages high-acuity cases. The facility is affiliated with a renowned pediatric organization, and candidates must be comfortable caring for pediatric patients.
