Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse Kansas City, Missouri. This role involves providing patient care in a busy emergency department environment. The position requires collaboration with medical staff and delivering high-quality care aligned with unit protocols and patient safety standards.
Job Details:
- Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Certifications & Experience: Candidates must have at least 1 year of clinical experience in emergency nursing, current licensure, and relevant certifications.
- Unit Information:
- Location: Emergency Department
- Address: 2316 E Meyer Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64132
- Beds: 38 beds with various main areas, rapid response zone, and psychiatric safe zone
- Staffing: 7 day/night registered nurses during each shift
- Equipment: Ventilators, BiPAP, EKG systems, arterial lines, Belmont monitors, chest tubes
- EMR: Meditech
- Typical Procedures: Port placements, chest tubes.
- Personality Fit: Patient-focused, detail-oriented, team player, positive attitude, coachable.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information:
- Floating to Brookside Emergency Department may be required.
- Schedule includes 4 weekend shifts and at least 2 Fridays every 4 weeks, plus holiday coverage.
