Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) registered nurse in a travel capacity at the specified location. The position involves delivering safe and effective patient care within the scope of practice, primarily during night shifts. The nurse will coordinate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a high-acuity environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Current and valid state RN license; current BLS certificate and maintain current; current ACLS certificate and maintain current; current PALS certificate and/or ENPC and maintain current; Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation; minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting; ER setting experience preferred; Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Preferred Qualifications: Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN)
  • Additional Information: The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in the Emergency Department. They communicate changes in patient condition to physicians and respond quickly and accurately to clinical changes. Knowledge of EMTALA regulations and reporting child/adult abuse is required. Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality throughout all care activities. Responsibilities include guiding patient and family education and supervising nursing personnel within professional standards.
