Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department or Emergency Room RN experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certification required
• CPI required; may be completed after contract start if needed
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, triage, and clinical decision-making skills
• Experience with IV/IO insertion, cardiac monitoring, and critical care drips preferred
• Ability to work independently in a 16-bed emergency department

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to emergency department patients in a high-acuity environment
• Perform rapid assessments, triage, and ongoing patient monitoring
• Support critical care interventions, including IV/IO access, chest tube management, and catheterization
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the EMR system
• Adapt to a variable patient ratio in a busy Emergency Department setting
