Job Title: Director of Nursing  (DON)

Facility: Sandia Ridge Center

Location: Albuquerque, NM
Shift: 8-hour - 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Local Pay: $65/hr
Contract: 9 weeks (with the possibility of extension)

Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee nursing operations at Sandia Ridge Center in Albuquerque, NM. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the nursing team, maintaining clinical excellence, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and promoting high-quality patient care across the facility.


Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Oversee and manage daily nursing operations and staff
     
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and clinical standards
     
  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff to maintain quality patient care
     
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
     
  • Monitor documentation, quality metrics, and clinical performance
     
  • Support staff development, training, and performance management

Requirements: Active, unrestricted RN License Director of Nursing or leadership experience preferred Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities preferred
