Position Summary: Our Client is seeking a skilled and compassionate CVOR RN with the ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced surgical environment. The CVOR RN will be responsible for providing specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular and open-heart procedures, assisting the surgical team, monitoring patients, and maintaining patient safety throughout the procedure. To be successful, you should have strong critical-thinking skills, attention to detail, and experience with cardiovascular surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assess patients for cardiovascular procedures.
- Assist surgeons during open-heart and cardiac surgeries.
- Monitor vital signs and cardiac rhythms.
- Administer medications, IVs, and blood products.
- Maintain a sterile environment and ensure patient safety.
- Prepare and manage surgical equipment and supplies.
- Respond quickly to changes in patient condition.
- Document patient care and collaborate with the surgical team.
Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience ( Required ) Charting: EPIC experience required Must have a GA or Compact license to submit. Must have BLS and ACLS Certification.
