Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) in a facility setting. This role involves providing specialized care to adult and geriatric patients within a cardiovascular intensive care environment. The position requires a minimum of two years of relevant experience and offers a schedule of 12-hour night shifts, with a minimum commitment of 48 hours per week, starting from September 14, 2026, through December 14, 2026.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12 hours shift, minimum of 48 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience in cardiovascular intensive care, certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS); valid license or certification in good standing; experience managing arterial lines, ventilated patients, chest tubes, and complex cardiovascular procedures.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous travel experience in critical care, experience with intra-aortic balloon pumps, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), and high acuity ICU environments.
- Float: Unless specifically stated otherwise, travelers will be expected to float to like units within their scope, as needed based on facility needs.
- Additional Information: The role includes managing critically ill adult and geriatric patients with complex cardiovascular diagnoses. The unit is supported by interdisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, physical therapy, and radiology, ensuring comprehensive patient care. Orientation hours are 24, with modules completed onsite during orientation. Travel will require brief lab testing within 48 business hours once the contract is signed.
