Job Summary:
The organization is seeking an Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) Registered Nurse for a nighttime shift position. This role involves caring for patients in a specialized cardiac Intensive Care Unit that manages both cardiac medical and cardiothoracic/vascular surgery cases. The RN will provide high-level patient care, including management of patients with devices such as Impella, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), and Left Ventricular Assist Devices (LVAD). The position requires skill in critical care interventions within a fast-paced cardiac ICU environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Nursys license verification, Drivers license or State ID, professional profile with the organization, professional references, and an updated resume.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with NxStage systems is preferred.
- Additional Information: The ICU offers a patient ratio of 2:1, including patients with cardiac devices such as Impella, IABP, LVAD, and NxStage. This position is designed for a nurse competent in managing both cardiac medical and cardiothoracic/vascular ICU patients.
