Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• 2+ years of stepdown, cardiac stepdown, or progressive care experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Cerner experience required
• Strong clinical judgment in a fast-paced telemetry and cardiac care environment
• Willingness to float to medical-surgical (MS) or telemetry (Tele) units as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to cardiac stepdown and progressive care patients
• Monitor patient status, assess changes in condition, and respond promptly to clinical needs
• Administer medications, treatments, and ordered therapies
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support positive outcomes
• Float to MS/Tele units when needed based on patient care needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety and quality care standards
