Position Details
- Position: RN – Prep/Recovery (PACU)
- Facility: Advocate Health – Atrium Health Cabarrus
- Location: Concord, NC
- Address: 920 Church St. N., Concord, NC 28025
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Shift: Days
- Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
- First-Time Travelers: Yes
- EMR: Epic
- Radius Rule: Permanent address must be 50+ miles from the home unit
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Critical Care, PACU, or CCU experience – REQUIRED
- First-time travelers accepted
- Strong post-anesthesia/recovery experience preferred
- Comfortable caring for cardiac and vascular procedure patients
Required Certifications
- BLS
- ACLS
Required Skills
- Neurovascular checks, including Doppler assessments
- IV medication/gtt management
- Familiarity with nitroglycerin and heparin infusions
- Access-site management: femoral and radial
- TR Band experience
- Groin compression device experience
- Post-anesthesia recovery
- Basic blood pressure management
- EKG, glucometer, and iSTAT competency

- 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
