Job Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of practice or compact license eligibility
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in telemetry, critical care, cardiac cath lab, ER, or OR
• Cardiac interventional cath lab experience required
• Experience scrubbing in for cardiac interventional procedures
• ARRT certification required
• ACLS preferred at hire and required within 6 months of hire
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to respond quickly to urgent STEMI call-backs

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Conduct and interpret patient assessments to create and update individualized plans of care
• Assist as a scrub nurse and circulator during cardiac catheterization procedures
• Support complex interventions such as pacemaker implants, ablations, TAVR, and thrombectomy procedures
• Monitor hemodynamic status and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and conscious sedation safely and in accordance with policy
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure excellent patient outcomes
• Participate in on-call coverage for evenings, weekends, holidays, and urgent cardiac cases
