Job Summary
Cardiac Cath Lab (CCL) Technologist or Nurse Nashville, TN. This role involves providing specialized care in a high-volume cardiac catheterization laboratory. The position requires performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, ensuring patient safety, and supporting the clinical team with advanced equipment and technology.
Job Details
- Requires 0 years of minimum experience.
- Certifications required include: RNs must hold a valid RN license, along with BLS and ACLS certifications. Technologists should have RCIS, RCES, or RT(R) credentials, plus BLS and ACLS.
- Education: Relevant licensure or certification in cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Responsibilities include monitoring and circulating during various cardiac procedures such as diagnostic angiograms, PCI, laser atherectomies, ECMO, TAVR, and complex PCI.
- Additional duties involve assisting with EP studies, pacemaker and ICD implantation, ablations (excluding cryo), lead extractions, and managing advanced imaging systems.
- Candidate must be prepared to float only to prep and recovery areas.
