Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Registered Nurse position available in Atlantis, Florida. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a high-volume Cath and Electrophysiology (EP) lab environment, supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, as well as device implantations. The nurse will work collaboratively within a team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and efficient workflow.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license; at least 1 year of clinical experience; certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory or Electrophysiology Lab; ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment; capable of working independently.
- Unit Information:
- Number of beds: 3 cath rooms and 4 EP rooms
- Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:1
- Equipment used: Cath/EP Lab equipment, Meditech documentation system
- Call Requirements: 8-12 shifts per month, including 2 weekends (Saturday and Sunday)
- Typical Procedures: Cardiac Cath (diagnostic and PCI), Watchman/LAAO, EP studies/Ablation, Device Implants
- Additional Information: The role requires proficiency in Cath/EP procedures and adherence to all safety protocols and hospital policies.
