Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias
- Manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
- Administer and manage arterial lines and central lines
- Provide continuous IV sedation and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
- Manage BiPAP/CPAP and ventilated patients
- Interpret Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs) and perform suctioning (ETT, NT)
- Adhere to isolation precautions and use PPE effectively
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience
- Valid NY nursing license
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Proficiency in using AllScripts EMR system preferred
- Must pass a telemetry assessment with a score of 80% or higher
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required, with exemptions allowed for medical/religious reasons
