Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit Burn Registered Nurse (RN) located at an organization specializing in burn trauma care for adult and pediatric patients. This position involves providing primary nursing care within a critical care setting operating on a night shift schedule. The RN will manage complex patient needs, including invasive hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, burn fluid resuscitation, and post-operative care, ensuring optimal recovery across the continuum of burn injuries.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license (Nursys License Verification), professional driver's license or state ID, active Ascension profile, two professional references, minimum of 1 year of experience in intensive care unit burn care or related specialty
- Additional Information: The unit cares for burn trauma patients with injuries such as flame, scald, electrical, chemical burns, inhalation injuries, necrotic ischemia, and necrotizing fasciitis. Responsibilities include initial debridement and dressing changes, ventilator management, sedation, and continuous monitoring of critical parameters. The assignment starts on 09/06/2026 and concludes on 11/28/2026.
