Job Summary:
Ambulatory Care Medical Surgical Skilled Nursing Professional in an outpatient setting. This position involves providing comprehensive clinical services, working collaboratively with healthcare providers, and ensuring quality patient care within a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes leadership, documentation accuracy, and adherence to clinical standards to support efficient clinic operations.
Job Details:
- Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Schedule: 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Start Date: 11/02/2026
- End Date: 03/15/2027
- Required Qualifications: Current full, unrestricted Registered Nursing license in Alaska or other U.S. state; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; high school diploma or equivalent; 2 years of primary care experience; knowledge of nursing process, customer service principles, safety and infection control principles; skills in assessments, specimen collection, equipment use, and effective communication; ability to multitask, work independently, teach, problem-solve, and develop good working relations.
- Additional Information: This position functions within the outpatient department to assist patients and medical staff, maintaining skills and certifications, participating in educational programs, adhering to infection control policies, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. The employee must be capable of lifting and moving up to 50 pounds and demonstrate physical endurance consistent with ambulatory clinical duties.
