Job Details

  • Schedule: Rotating shift, 8 hours shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, successful passage of the organization's Pharmacology exam, must read, write and communicate fluently in English, previous intravenous therapy experience required, current IV experience, proficiency in peripheral line placement for children and newborns within 6 months, experience with insertion of Peripherally Inserted Central Lines (PICC) and ultrasound-guided Peripheral Intravenous (PIV) placements preferred, proficiency in PICC placement within 1 year, IV Certification (CRNI) within 2.5 years.
  • Preferred Qualifications: BSN degree preferred.
  • Additional Information: This position involves delivering patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Responsibilities include administering medications, vascular access procedures including PICC line placement, maintaining accurate patient records, and participating in nursing committees and community representation. The role requires adherence to safety protocols, ongoing professional development, and collaboration with healthcare team members.
