Job description
Premier Medical Staffing Services is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Madison, Wisconsin.

- Floating: Travelers are required to float as needed.
- Local Rule: 50 miles from the facility. Locals not accepted.
- Minimum experience: Inpatient RN travelers must have two years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty they are submitting to.

- Pass/Fail Testing required with strict passing criteria.
- A telemetry exam will be required prior to start. The following criteria must be met in two attempts:
- Adult Exam: 100% identification of lethal rhythms: Ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, asystole No incorrect answers on questions regarding 3rd degree heart blocks [1 incorrect answer will cause failure] Passing score of 80% or higher
- Pediatric Exam Ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, asystole, and sinus bradycardia Passing score of 80% or higher
- Attempts: Traveler will have two attempts to pass. If the traveler fails the second attempt they will submit a certificate of completion of a cardiac interpretation review course to Vaya before a third attempt will be assigned. If the traveler does not pass after three attempts the assignment will be cancelled.)
HIGHLIGHTS:
- Must have at least 2 years of total NICU III/IV experience, with at least 1 full year of Level IV NICU.
- Experience with post-op patients, g-tubes, trach/vents management, various modes of invasive/noninvasive ventilation.
- BLS, NRP REQUIRED (AHA only)
- RN license required
- Epic experience required
