Job Description:

The registered nurse in the NICU will provide specialized care for newborns in a high-acuity environment, ensuring the health and stability of premature or ill infants. The role requires previous NICU experience, advanced nursing skills, and proficiency with Philips Monitors and Meditech & Centricity Perinatal documentation systems.

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized care for neonates in a 60-bed unit.
• Work in patient ratios of 2-3:1.
• Adhere to scheduling requirements, working 3 twelve-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends and holiday commitments.
• Float to comparable areas of high need as necessary.

Requirements:

• Current Nursing License, BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications.
• Previous NICU experience.
• Able to adhere to unit-specific dress code: Navy or ceil blue, any shade of grey, or white scrubs. No long sleeves, watches, rings, or nail polish of any kind.
