Job Description:

The role involves providing care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at a children's hospital. The unit consists of 60 beds with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 2-3:1. The RN will be expected to work three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends and holidays. Nurses are required to float to comparable areas with high need if necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care for critically ill newborns
• Monitor patients using Philips Monitors and document care using Meditech & Centricity Perinatal systems
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective patient care
• Adhere to hospital and unit-specific policies

Requirements:

• Valid nursing license and certifications in BLS, NRP, and STABLE
• Previous experience in a NICU setting required
• Compliance with dress code: Navy or ceil blue, any shade of grey, or white scrubs with no long sleeves, watches, rings, or nail polish
