Job Summary
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Madison, Wisconsin. This role involves providing specialized critical care to critically ill neonates and their families across a 26-bed level IV NICU. The RN will deliver comprehensive, patient- and family-centered care utilizing advanced diagnostic and therapeutic services, including a wide variety of medical and surgical interventions.
Job Details
- Location: Madison, Wisconsin
- Shift: Rotating, 12-hour shifts (7:00am-7:30pm and 7:00pm-7:30am)
- Schedule: Day/Night, 12-hour shift, 48 hours per week minimum
- Start Date: 09/14/2026
- End Date: 12/14/2026
- Required Qualifications: RN license, minimum of 2 years of total NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) experience with at least 1 year in Level IV NICU, experience with post-op patients, g-tubes, trach/vent management, invasive/noninvasive ventilation, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with complex neonatal diagnoses and advanced ventilator management.
- Certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS
- Additional Information: The RN will float to all units including PICU, providing care for neonates younger than 12 months. Candidate must have at least two years of recent acute care experience within the last three years in the specified specialty. Strict pass/fail testing with a telemetry exam is required prior to start.
