Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse position in the Seattle area. The role involves supporting ground transportation needs for neonatal and pediatric patients, working with a team of respiratory therapists and advanced practice providers to ensure infants and children are safely transported to higher-level care facilities. The position requires flexibility to float to NICU, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), or pediatric units as needed.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 3x12 Night shifts (19:00-07:00), minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid compact license in the state of practice, at least 2 years of neonatal intensive care experience, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications, and a minimum of 1 year of professional nursing experience in a neonatal or pediatric specialty.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Charge nurse experience is preferred.
  • Float: Float to NICU, PICU, or pediatric units may be required.
  • Additional Information:
    • Must have experience in ground transportation for neonatal and pediatric patients
    • Responsibilities include assisting with patient transfers from emergency departments, NICUs, and other units, utilizing transport equipment, and supporting clinicians during transport
    • Candidates should be available to work during specified holidays and must request all scheduling and time-off preferences upfront during submittal
    • Must be willing to work at least 1 year in a travel capacity and have a valid license in hand at the time of submission
    • References covering 1 year within the last 3 years are required
