• Patient Ratio: 1:4
• Charting System: EPIC experience preferred
• Float: May float between units as needed
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,740 - $1,840

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in the appropriate state or compact state license in hand at submission
• At least 1 year of recent RN experience required
• Recent Med/Surg and Telemetry RN experience strongly preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to interpret telemetry rhythms and manage dysrhythmias
• Experience with rapid response events and code team support
• Comfort working in a fast-paced acute care environment with complex neuro and telemetry patients
• Strong documentation skills and experience with electronic health records, preferably EPIC

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care for Med/Surg Telemetry patients in an acute care hospital setting
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Support patients with neurological and cardiovascular conditions, including stroke, seizures, and neurosurgical recovery
• Administer medications, complete assessments, and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Assist with oxygen therapy, isolation precautions, peripheral line care, and non-invasive airway support
• Collaborate with physicians, therapy teams, and support staff to promote safe, effective patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate charting and uphold unit standards in a busy Med/Surg Telemetry environment
• Adapt to floating assignments and contribute to a strong team-based patient care culture
