• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,740 - $1,840
• Weekend Requirement: Yes, including 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Floating: May float between units as needed
• Charting System: Electronic health record experience required; EPIC experience is a plus

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent Registered Nurse experience required
• Active RN license required and must be in hand at submission
• Compact RN license accepted if active and available at submission
• BLS certification required
• Experience in Med/Surg Tele, telemetry monitoring, and neuro stepdown preferred
• Strong skill set in dysrhythmia interpretation and cardiac rhythm management
• Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity acute care setting
• Experience with patient ratios of approximately 1:4 preferred
• Comfort with teamwork, flexibility, and floating between units

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to telemetry and neuro-focused medical-surgical patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Support patients with stroke, seizure, neurosurgical, and other neurologic diagnoses
• Administer treatments and interventions including oxygen therapy, peripheral line care, and isolation precautions
• Collaborate with rapid response and code teams when needed
• Document accurately in the electronic health record
• Work closely with physicians and interdisciplinary support teams to promote safe, effective patient care
• Adapt to a fast-paced acute care environment while maintaining excellent patient-centered care
