Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit Neurological (ICU NEURO) registered nurse position is available in a hospital setting. This role involves caring for acute stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), seizures, and post-surgical patients requiring invasive intracranial pressure monitoring, frequent neurological assessments, hemodynamic monitoring, and routine diagnostic imaging such as CT, MRI, and angiography. The shift is scheduled for daytime hours, with a commitment of at least 36 hours per week, starting on 09/21/2026 and ending on 12/20/2026.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid driver's license or state ID, UHS submission packet checklist/testing, UHS skills checklist, UHS prior employment form, one year of clinical experience in ICU neurology or related specialty, current licensure as a registered nurse, and relevant certifications as required by the organization.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience caring for acute stroke, SAH, seizures, or post-surgical neuro patients; familiarity with invasive intracranial pressure monitoring, neurological assessments, and routine imaging procedures.
- Additional Information: The position involves caring for patients with complex neurological conditions requiring a high level of assessment and monitoring. Candidates may need to float to other intensive care units or step-down units as operationally required.
