Intensive Care Unit Neurological (ICU Neuro) Nurse in Fort Worth, Texas. This role involves providing specialized neurological critical care within a 12-bed Neurosciences Intensive Care Unit. Job Details:

- Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week

- Required Qualifications:
- Certifications: Valid nursing license in the state of Texas or compact license, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, and ICU experience of at least 2 years with neuro experience.
- Education: Nursing degree from an accredited program.
- Experience: 2+ years of ICU experience; neuro ICU experience preferred.
- Location: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Years of Experience: 0 years minimum (additional experience required for consideration).
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Meditech electronic medical record experience.
- Neuro ICU experience.
- Additional Information:
- Candidates should possess strong teamwork, self-drive, and initiative.
- Experience with bedside EVD placement, lumbar puncture, intubation, bronchoscopy, central line placement, EGD, and TEE procedures is typical on the unit.
- The unit maintains a patient ratio of 1:2 or 1:1 depending on patient acuity.
